Quick recap, events only, no cute pictures for cute pictures' sake, otherwise there'd be hundreds here:

Family portrait at my (and Ly's) first pro soccer game.

We're going to let this sriracha photo be representative of all of the good food we've eaten since Lyon was born.  We haven't let life with a new baby slow us down one bit when it comes to eating out.  Food-ing is still my and Jon's #1 favorite activity.   (Note:  I don't actually like sriracha, I just liked all of these lined up neatly in a row at Shophouse.  So.)

New York!  Can we move there next, please?  We met Lyon's new cousin Fin and ate our way from one end of Manhattan to the other.  We got lots of food accomplished, considering we were only in town for 12 hours (Our trip, travel included, was a 24-hr doozy.)  Food we conquered:  Treat Shop, Buvette, Big Gay Ice Cream, Sushi Samba, Tacombi at Fonda Nolita.

How lucky am I that Jon has an amazingly cool cousin with super great taste, a Park Slope "guest couch", and a baby born nine days after ours?

The Howard Theatre, where Jon played earlier this year, and a photo I took when Lyon and I went to tour the Saudi Arabian embassy.

Wearing my boy at Chinatown Coffee.  This is what many of our days look like.  On the right, a wonderful late-into-the-night Easter feast with good friends who are about to move away from DC.  Nothing can replace the old friends we left behind in SC, but we really have met some fantastic people here.  (Fantastic and smart.  Everyone in this city is so smart.)

Et voilà!  Mostly caught up now.
