mon maison, mi casa, mein home.

Here's our new DC home!  (And by home, I mean room.)  It's tiny for two people and a doggie; we'll see how out-of-our-minds we become when baby gets here in January!  We plan to put the crib right at the foot of the bed (it's a short one, only waist-high), and that's about all we'll have in terms of baby gear.  It may be small, but I adore it for its moody afternoon light and big closets and the walking distance to so much good food.  Who needs more than one room, anyway?

 P.S.  How about let's be impressed with this girl who's learning to cook (and doing quite well at it, says Jon) in a kitchen carved out of a closet with absolutely no countertops!
