and we love it here.

We are settling nicely into life in our new city, but it hasn't been so quick.  We are still waiting on furniture to be delivered (tomorrow morning, fingers crossed!), so we've been "camping" on the floor for the past few weeks.  Ouch for this little momma's back.  (Camping out in the living room was much more fun when we did it by choice rather than necessity.)

This past weekend we explored a little bit farther and found a "foodie" street just a block and a half away!  That makes us unbelievably happy.  We had an amazing brunch at The Coupe yesterday morning, and today I'm back again, using it as my office (it's 24 hours!)  Our apartment is uber-conveniently located within walking distance of Target, the grocery store, and a myriad of other really useful places, but they're mostly chains.  It's a great setup in so many ways, but my independent-loving heart was a little disappointed that there wasn't more personality in our neighborhood.  So I'm so excited to have found this little strip and will probably be found here every day until I either get a part-time job, or bebe comes.

There is something about living in a city that makes me feel so much more inspired and creative, and like my whole self, rather than just a slice of it.  I'm so thankful to be here, with this husband who is more than I ever could have hoped for, and our sweet child on the way.  I told Jon yesterday that I feel like every. single. one. of my dreams have come true.  And it's just the best feeling.
