Are you as big a fan of TED talks as I am? Thought so. I listen to
them almost daily while I work, along with my NPR podcasts. You can
imagine, then, how excited we were when Jon was asked to perform at our
local event. What he does with music is a little unusual and really
neat and interesting (and just downright good), so it was a great
fit for the very curious audience at TED. It was super fun to hear him
perform at such an unusual venue, and we both enjoyed hearing the talks
all day, although we were completely mentally exhausted by the end of
it all. (Lyon was my favorite speaker.)

I thought it said Suzanna Rocks on your name tag for a second! It sounds like a great day (but can see how it would be mentally exhausting).
ReplyDeleteThat actually happens quite a bit! One credit card company printed my name that way on my card. Funny. :)
DeleteAmazing! I am an event management major and we talk about TED talks all the time in regards to an event. But I always loved it before I started studying events, and I love all NPR podcasts! My few all time favorites are This American Life, Car Talk, and Radio Lab. It's so amazing that your beau got to speak at one!
